connection between old fashioned packet and Aredn network?

Im working on a project with an rpm 4, two tnc pi's, an AREDN. I can connect into one tnc from outside on 145.050 and tell bbq to go out on the other tnc pi on 223.580. I can connect to the rip from outside packet station and go into CMS win link and send and receive emails. I am now working on setting up the BBS so that if the CMS is down or no internet access, the message will be put into the bbs and try connecting to cmd later. so far, all is working. I've never used BPQ so it is a straight up learning curve. Also never done Linux.

this doesn't really answer your question maybe but at least you know someone is trying to do something in the same direction.
